I need to be Persuaded, who's willing to assist me?

  6th-10th November,2023 Hey there are you already persuaded or need to be persuaded?   After reading my blog, let me know what do you think?    First of all, do you know that persuasion is the art of crafting words that not only convey a message but also ignite a conviction, planting seeds of influence that blossom  into agreement.  For me, I still need some form of persuasion on writing this persuasive piece. Nevertheless I thought that this lesson was rather informative.  However, I believe that there is need for extra help in putting a great persuasive piece together. I would really like if our lecturer gives enough practice for this genre of writing before our final piece. In my opinion this is one of the most difficult writing for me to execute. Appreciation will be in order, if our lecturer uses peer assistance so that I can get ideas or ways to improve my persuasive piece. I believe that ample time will be needed when generating my ideas. ...

Its All about The 6+1 Trait

 Week 30th October- 3rd November   It's another time for blogging   and my eye opener from this class sessions  is The 6+1 Trait. The 6+1 trait model, often used in the context of writing and literacy education, is a framework for assessing and improving the quantity of written communication. It consist of seven key traits, which are: (1) Ideas: The content and main message of the writing.  (2) Organization: The structure and flow of the writing. (3) Voice: The authors unique and engaging style. (4) Word Choice: The use of precise and effective vocabulary. (5) Sentence Fluency: The rhythm and readability of sentences. (6) Conventions: The correctness of grammar, punctuation and spelling.  (7) Presentation: The overall visual appealing format of the writing. Learning from each other

  21 st -27 th October, 2023 Have you ever asked yourself, why in some instances it is best to work with four eyes and two brains? 👀 From this week session, what stood out to me was the strategy of pair grouping.  This is where two students are instructed to partner up in order to complete a task set by the teacher. Here are some of  the importance of learning and sharing from each other: 1) Diverse Perspectives- collaborators bring different backgrounds, experiences and viewpoints to the table, this can lead to more creative and well-rounded solutions to problems. 2) Complementary Skills- Each person may have unique skills and expertise that complement each other, allowing for a more comprehensive approach to the tasks. 3)Increased Productivity- working in pairs can lead to more efficient work processes, with tasks being distributed and completed more quickly. 4) Quality Assurance- Having another person review your work can help catch errors, improve quality ...
